Balance Issues?

As I wanted to be able to tank for my guild, i've decided to roll a warrior, but I'm wondering about how smart that was. It seems like melee characters without stealth are getting owned by the mage buffs in the past couple of patches. If I can get up in their face I can sometimes solo clerics, and I am great at nuking healers as any crit that I proc causes the enemy to take 50 percent less healing.
